I bought this cleansing balm in hopes it would work as well for me as it does for many other reviewers, but unfortunately it does not :( I used it for a few weeks until I realized that it was this product that was giving me a series of small bumps on my face, particularly around my jawline. I didn't make the connection at first, but I had wondered why on earth my skin never lost this slightly rough, bumpy texture and why it wasn't improving no matter what I did (even using acids, gentle exfoliants, etc). I then suddenly thought of stopping to use this, and then lo and behold-- the bumps disappeared in a few short days after I stopped. I guess I didn't think this was the culprit at first because it didn't give me a rash or a huge obvious breakout. I was already recovering from a previous irritation at that time so I thought it was from that. Turns out it was definitely this cleansing balm causing the bumps.

It's too bad that this doesn't work for me, I have probably 3/4 of the jar left and I'm not quite sure what to use it for. The packaging is nice and practical (I appreciate the flip top cap instead of having to screw the entire lid off each use) and the balm itself has a nice smell. I felt like it took my makeup off decently enough, so I'm guessing it's something in the ingredients that my skin didn't like.
